Trondent Makes Significant Investment in its Decision Support Suite with Authorizer Pro

BARRINGTON, IL – July 28, 2014 – Trondent Development Corp., a provider of web-based and mobile applications to the corporate travel industry, continues to enhance Authorizer, its market leading pre-trip approval system, with a new set of customization capabilities.  Today’s release of Authorizer Pro includes a new, modern graphic user interface with tabular design, a customizable rules engine, and new permission to book functionality which enables users to request authorization prior to booking the reservation.  Like Authorizer, Authorizer Pro enables approvers to take immediate action to approve, decline or request changes directly from email or via the website prior to the commencement of the trip.  What’s more, Authorizer Pro now includes travel agency notifications to enable the agency of record to keep abreast of the workflow in progress.

Finally, more advanced rules logic has been introduced into the product that manages multiple policy conditions and scenarios including the capability to set itinerary thresholds by dollar amount, differentiate policy by domestic vs. international, traveler type and cost center or department.  Additionally, Authorizer Pro also provides a robust, client admin reporting capability, providing valuable insight and metrics with respect to the approval process.
